Jesse and Aubyn, with their 3 daughters, Melody, Temperence, and JoyAnna, first visited CTBC in 2015 while serving as guest worship leaders. The Wood family immediately fell in love with the loving, hungry-for-God people that make CTBC such a wonderful place to worship and, shortly thereafter, Jesse accepted the invitation to serve as CTBC’s Director of Worship and Music.
Jesse received his call to ministry in 2012 and, in 2019, graduated from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary’s School of Church Music and Worship with a Bachelor of Music in Worship Studies. His greatest joy, after his family, comes from serving God and His church by using the creative, expressive powers of the arts as a medium for authentic, heartfelt worship that is firmly grounded in Spirit and truth. He is deeply passionate about personally investing in worshippers of all ages to help develop their own God-given gifts, talents, and skills to become faithful, joyful, replicable servants in the local church. If you are interested in serving at CTBC, don’t hesitate to contact him today!
